Competition rules
Entries, ratings, and Top 12 ballots close November 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time.
Entry
- One competition entry per dog; a household may enter more than one dog.
- Entrants must own the submitted photograph or have permission to use it.
- AI-enhanced or modified backgrounds are allowed, but the dog must remain recognizable.
- Private owner information and email addresses are never displayed publicly.
Voting
- A person may rate each dog once and may rate as many different dogs as they like.
- Each person may submit one optional official Top 12 ballot.
- A dog's month in a custom calendar does not add competition points.
- Purchases and fundraising do not add votes or improve a dog's competition score.
- BLU Dog may remove fraudulent ratings, bots, duplicate submissions, inappropriate entries, or manipulation attempts.
By entering, you confirm that you own the photo or have permission to use it, and authorize BLU Dog Longevity to crop, resize, lightly retouch, or replace the background while keeping your dog recognizable. You allow the photo, story, and caption to appear on competition pages, in the 2027 calendar, and in related promotion. BLU Dog may contact you if another photo is needed.
